'The term "Web 2.0" refers to a perceived second generation of web development and design, that aims to facilitate communication, secure information sharing, interoperability, and collaboration on the World Wide Web. Web 2.0 concepts have led to the development and evolution of web-based communities, hosted services, and applications; such as social-networking sites, video-sharing sites, wikis, blogs, and folksonomies.'

online marketing

From the simple to the complex

An essential part of any business and marketing plan is an online marketing plan. Like all aspects of Duplicity's services, the plan should be 'situational' in that it should fit the situation. Small business need a simple online marketing plan, whereas larger transactional businesses that depend on their 'click-through-rate' for their very survival require a more rigourous approach.

An online marketing plan is similar in nature to a traditional marketing plan, except that clearly, the distribution channels differ.
